Our Analyst Program in Trading & Shipping is designed to develop the next generation of leaders in the commodity trading and shipping industry. As an Analyst, you will gain hands-on experience in market analysis, trading strategies, and logistics management. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to support trading decisions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of trading strategies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, prices, and supply/demand dynamics.
- Support the logistics team in managing shipping schedules and coordinating with suppliers and customers.
- Prepare reports and presentations on market conditions, trading performance, and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, and logistics coordinators to optimize trading and shipping processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Learn and utilize trading and logistics software systems.
Suggested Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interest in commodity trading (focus on timber) and shipping.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
